Gurdarshan Mangat will become the first MMA fighter of Indian origin to compete for a Championship title in a global Mixed Martial Arts promotion. The Punjabi community in Bahrain has already started campaigning for the return of the “Saint Lion” to the cage in Bahrain.

Gurdarshan has 10 wins in his professional career and faced loss just once. Mangat is currently riding a six-fight winning streak.

With 8 wins in his professional career, Loman from Team Lakay is on a three-fight win streak. Representing Philippines, Loman trains at Team Lakay, which is the largest fight team in Philippines. In his previous fight at the Brave Combat Federation, Loman defeated one of the sparring partners of Conor McGregor leading to his fight against Floyd Mayweather, Franz Mlambo, who is trained by John Kavanagh at the SBG Gym.

Gurdarshan Mangat is training at Revolution MMA with UFC standout Jeremy Kennedy and ONE Championship Bantamweight champion Bibiano Fernandes.

The 30-year-old Mangat is coming off from a unanimous-decision victory over Abdul Muneer at Brave CF 5 in Mumbai, India.

The bout which promoted as one of the first rivalries featured in Indian Mixed Martial Arts history, witnessed Gurdarshan Mangat who is a bantamweight challenging Abdul Muneer who competed in the featherweight division.

Mangat dominated in all the three rounds by outwrestling Abdul Muneer to win the bout by unanimous decision.
