These Forerunner Artifacts can be found in the open world during the single-player campaign and look like huge circular hyper gates with blue, glowing energy. The benefit to doing this is that finding all of the artifacts unlocks the Forerunner Halo Infinite audio logs into the player’s database.

This optional quest can be completed at any time, before or after the story is over. However, there are some complications, such as gamers having to find them in a very specific order. So for Halo Infinite fans looking to finish this quest quickly, here is where to find all forerunner artifacts.

Forerunner 1

The first gate can be found towards the center of the Connections region, by the Harpoon Squad distress call objective. It will be located in an open field next to some tall pine trees.

Forerunner 2

The second artifact can be found in the top part of the connection region, close to Outpost Tremonius. It will be next to the water among the yellow flowers.

Forerunner 3

The third gate can be found in the Lockdown region right around the Fob Gold and Ransom Keep quest makers. It will be on the hillside with yellow flowers looking straight at the mountains.

Forerunner 4

The fourth gate can be found in the eastern part of Lockdown, right on top of the mountain next to Fob Golf. It’ll be on the side of the hill with green grass overlooking the floating ships.

Forerunner 5

The fifth gate can be found in the Graveyard area of the map, next to the Spartan Core. It will be among the rocks and next to the cargo containers.

Forerunner 6

The sixth gate can be found in the Reformation area of the map, next to the Mjolnir Armory. It will be in the wet marshy area looking at the tall geometric shape structures.

Forerunner 7

The last artifact can be found in the eastern part of the Reformation area, above the Fob November quest marker. It will be in the gravel dirt area on the mountain looking at more geometric shape structures.

Fans will know they have done it correctly when the “Haruspis” achievement in Halo Infinite pops up.
