So, far there have been no solid details regarding the upcoming Halo game, but 343 Industries did release a couple of concept art images for Halo Infinite in a recent blog post. The new concept art gives players a look into the future of Halo games and what’s to come with the upcoming title. In the first picture, Master Chief is seen approaching the same hologram that was shown in the E3 trailer where Cortana says, “I chose you because you were special.” The next image gives a tantalizing look at the damaged Halo ring also shown in the E3 trailer.

The post also included details regarding Halo Infinite which included the release date, platforms, in-game storyline, and even some scarce details regarding multiplayer beta testing. From these details, it’s clear that multiplayer beta testing will start sometime in 2020 and offer players a chance to opt-in for the beta. Also, it’s clear that there will be multiple beta tests, so more fans will be able to experience the upcoming shooter’s multiplayer mechanics before launch.
The blog post concluded with a letter from the studio head Bonnie Ross who thanked the entire community for their support and promised a lot of hype for the Halo franchise. Ross said, “There was nothing more memorable in 2019 than finally being able to announce that Halo Infinite will launch with Xbox Series X next holiday, as it feels like Halo is back where it belongs with Chief leading the way.” She also claimed that “2020 is going to be the biggest year ever for the Halo franchise.”
