Fortunately, it seems the developer may still be working to correct as many issues as possible. 343 Industries’ community manager, Brian Jarrard, took to Reddit to respond to fans’ concerns about lingering issues within The Master Chief Collection, and to provide a little hope for those who are still hoping for fixes. Jarrard said:
Jarrard admitted there are still quite a few “legitimate issues” players are experiencing, and recognizes that these issues have driven some players to “extreme measures of expressing their dissatisfaction”. Fortunately for those who fall within this group, Jarrard and his team haven’t forgotten about the issues, and are making it a focus of their work this year. Jarrard said:
Jarrard didn’t provide any timeline for when such fixes could be expected, and also didn’t call out any specific issues that the team at 343 Industries may focus on. That said, hopefully the developer can get these problems ironed out quickly. The game is in its third year, yet still boasts a healthy player base who would appreciate any updates they can get.
With Halo Wars 2 slated for release next month, and the potential for Halo 6 to release later this year or early next year, Master Chief Collection players are anxious to see as many fixes produced as possible before the teams at 343 Industries shift their focus to other projects.
What do you think about Jarrard’s comments about The Master Chief Collection? What updates or fixes would you still like to see?
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is currently available on Xbox One.
